USAMV Cluj-Napoca – în topul SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) 2015

USAMV Cluj-Napoca

Platforma Scimago Institutions Rankings este o platformă de evaluare a cercetarii și generator de clasamente, pentru a analiza rezultatele cercetării universităților și institutelor de cercetare si este gestionata de Scimago Lab, in colaborare cu Scopus.

Clasamentele prezentate pe Platforma Scimago includ peste 5.100 de institutii de cercetare. Conform Metodologiei SIR, pentru ca o institutie sa fie selectata ca sa faca parte din aceste clasamente, aceasta trebuie sa fie o institutie de cercetare care sa figureze in Scopus cu peste 100 de lucrari publicate in ultimul an al perioadei de referinta.

Din Romania, in Clasamentul SIR sunt prezente 23 de universitati si institute de cercetare.

Clasamentele SIR au in vedere 3 domenii: cercetare, inovare si vizibilitatea web.

Pozitia USAMV Cluj-Napoca in cadrul celor 23 de institutii de cercetare romanesti este urmatoarea:

– Domeniul Cercetare: accesul la date si clasamente este parolat
– Domeniu Inovare:
– Innovative Knowledge: poz.13;
– Technological Impact: poz.3;
– Vizibilitatea web:
– Web size: poz.10;
– Domain’s inbound links: poz.20.

De asemenea, Platforma SIR permite si realizarea unor analize comparative.

Accesand acest link, gasiti o analiza comparativa a celor 4 universitati clujene. Conform definitiilor din Metodologia SIR, cei 13 indicatori prezentati in analiza comparativa au urmatoarea semnificatie:

– Domeniul Cercetare:
– Output: Total number of documents published in scholarly journals indexed in Scopus.
– Scientific Talent Pool: Total number of authors from an institution in the total publication output of that institution during a particular period of time.
– Excellence: Excellence rate indicates the amount (in %) of an institution’s scientific output that is included into the set of the 10% of the most cited papers in their respective scientific fields.
– Leadership: Leadership indicates the percentage of an institution’s output as main contributor, that is, the amount of papers in which the corresponding author belongs to the institution.
– Excellence with Leadership: Excellence with Leadership indicates the amount of documents in the Excellence rate in which the institution is the main contributor.
– International Collaboration: Institution’s output ratio produced in collaboration with foreign institutions. The values are computed by analyzing an institution’s output whose affiliations include more than one country address.
– Normalized Impact: Normalized Impact of led output is computed using the methodology established by the Karolinska Intitutet in Sweden where it is named „Item oriented field normalized citation score average”. The normalization of the citation values is done on an individual article level. The values (in decimal numbers) show the relationship between an institution’s average scientific impact and the world average set to a score of 1, –i.e. a NI score of 0.8 means the institution is cited 20% below world average and 1.3 means the institution is cited 30% above average.
– Specialization: The Specialization Index indicates the extent of thematic concentration /dispersion of an institution’s scientific output. Values range between 0 and 1, indicating generalist vs. specialized institutions respectively.
– Q1: High Quality Publications – Ratio of publications that an institution publishes in the most influential scholarly journals of the world, those ranked in the first quartile (25%) in their categories as ordered by SCImago Journal Rank (SJRII) indicator.

– Domeniu Inovare:
– Innovative Knowledge: Scientific publication output from an institution cited in patents.
– Technological Impact: Percentage of the scientific publication output cited in patents.

– Vizibilitatea web:
– Web size: Number of pages associated to the institution URL according to Google.
– Domain’s inbound links: Number of incoming links to an institution domain according to ahrefs.
